Dear Friends – You may recall that two years ago, I participated with 18 teammates in the 300 mile Wheels of Love bicycle ride to raise money for ALYN Hospital for Children. The monies raised from this event benefited severely physically disabled children from around the world treated at ALYN Hospital in Israel. ALYN Hospital combines cutting edge therapy with state of the art equipment and a devoted, talented and loving staff that works miracles with the children.
ALYN Hospital treats children with a wide range of congenital and acquired conditions including cerebral palsy, neuromuscular diseases, spinal cord injuries, burns, terror and motor vehicle accident victims. ALYN is the only comprehensive rehabilitation center in Israel that has everything a child and family could need for rehab of even the direst cases and serves children from Israel, the region and around the world. The hospital receives no automatic government funding and is dependent on donations to meet an ever rising shortfall in funding.
Unfortunately, because of the COVID-19 crisis, our team, the Grumpy Roadstres, will be unable to travel to Israel and participate in this amazing cause. So, with some planning, the Grumpy Roadsters will ride in New York and Massachusetts over a two day period on October 17th and 18th.
Please join us in spirit – we will ride for you and the kids. Every gift is 100% tax deductible. Thank you in advance for supportying me on my ride and for being as generous as you can be!
