Fundraising Obligations

Five Day Riders: Every five-day rider is obligated to raise a MINIMUM of $2,500 or the equivalent in sponsorships. Please note that this is the absolute minimum but the average Rider manages to raise well over $5,000 and we ask you to set lofty personal goals on behalf of the children of ALYN.  You will be amazed at how responsive people are if you are willing to do the legwork.  We have special gifts and incentives for Riders who raise at least $5000.  Successful fundraisers will also be specially acknowledged during the Ride.

Riders in the same community or family may form a team in order to pool your fundraising efforts. For details, refer to the Fundraising team / Family group page.

We will be happy to assist you in your fundraising efforts by providing you with excellent support materials, sample letters and tips. For details, please refer to the Fundraising pages.

If you cancel after September 25, 2016, we will already have incurred substantial expenses that exceed your registration fee.  In this case, your minimum fundraising requirement will be reduced to $1,300 (which, together with your registration fee, will be needed to cover expenses).

Volunteers : Volunteers are required to raise a minimum of $750.

GalgALYN Riders: Single day GalgALYN riders are required to raise NIS 750

We strongly suggest that you begin your fundraising efforts early and complete your fundraising by the time of the Ride.

All donations must be received by December 15, 2016.
